There are many duties of airlines Ramp Agent that are exceedingly
important. Initially, a ramp agent should have the ability to greet people. A
Ramp Agent, who works for an airline should have the ability to greet customers
that approaches him/her in a given Airport. Greetings done by a ramp agent are
extremely remarkable to a customer because many people are pleased when another
person greets them in a polite way. Greeting an individual also helps put
smile on his face. Another important duty of a ramp agent is to have the
proficiency to communicate with co-workers. For an example, every ramp agent
uses a radio as a means of communicating with co-workers or bosses, which requires
a clear verbal communication. Ramp agents communicate with each other because
it helps carry on work related duties very easily and efficiently. As a final
point, on time performance is another duty that is required by a Ramp agent. In
other for a Ramp Agent to do the job appropriately, he /she have to be on time
to perform his /her duty. In view of the fact that, every passenger has a
specific time to reach their destinations, so it is required that a ramp agent
should do his/her job in a timely manner. To sum up, all of the above sentences
are the duties of a ramp agent.
